There’s no better way to start the New Year than by checking out the latest international Davey Award winners to emulate their successful strategies in marketing and communications. This past December, FCM and its customers scored a total of 20 international Daveys for workforce and education campaigns.
This prestigious award is judged and overseen by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), a 700+ member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media. Current membership represents a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media firms including Condé Nast, Disney, General Electric, Microsoft, Monster.com, MTV, and Yahoo! to name a few.
Here are the highlights and links to FCM’s workforce and education projects that earned Daveys among a crowded field of more than 4,000 global entries.
Coalition on Adult Basic Education & National Council of State Directors of Adult Education
These two powerhouse organizations teamed up to create a national adult education campaign to inform policy makers about the value and relevancy of adult education. The campaign, called Educate & Elevate, earned a 2017 Gold Davey in the integrated campaign category; there were only 14 gold winners selected in this category. An integrated campaign uses a combination of mediums like digital, print, public relations and eMarketing to ensure that messages are consistent and received by the greatest possible number of people within the target market. The Educate & Elevate website received additional Daveys for visual appeal, copy writing and homepage design. The campaign video was also awarded a Silver Davey.
